TERRIBLE MOMENTS
Without wasting time, Jerry and I left the hospital, leaving the kids in my mother's care. She didn't bother to ask where we were headed because I'd have to start explaining so much to her. She only advised us to be careful.
That wasn't the point here, it wasn't my main concentration. How did all this happen to Iris and she didn't bother to tell me about it?
Now I had an explanation on why she refused to answer my texts and calls. Whatever she was facing now, she was facing alone.
“Jerry, please drive faster.” I instructed from where I sat in the back seat. My thoughts couldn't hekp but focus on Iris right now, how was she feeling about her mother's death? Did he hurt her so much that she had to seclude me from the bad news?
