TRUST HIM, MARRY HIM
“Did you pick these men yourself?” I asked, I was on a call with Helen. There was no response for awhile, I checked my screen to see if I was still on the call with her or she ended it.
“Helen, are you still there?”
“Yeah, I am right here.” She answered tiredly. She was far from being tired, she just wasn't in support of me marrying someone else.
“I know you hate what I am doing right now but I really don't care Helen, you should know that by now.”
“Of course, I know there's no one that can change your mind when you make crazy decisions like this.”
“It's not a crazy decision. I'm doing this for the good of everyone.”
“And how is choosing another man apart from Gavin a good decision, Iris?”
“Not again, Helen. We've been past this.”
