Rosie's Pov
I was not sure what was controlling me but the pull was much more powerful than the impedance. And Lily had been silent from the genesis of this whole thing. She was leaving me to my weakness.
Now I wanted him, Lily also did, that's probably why she was so weak and unable to help me.
"What has got you thinking, my little vixen, Rosie?" He whispered, cutting through my thoughts.
He did it again, how my name rolled on his tongue. I know it wasn't on purpose but he was having a clear effect on me. Dangerous!
My head was still bowed. Yes, you wouldn't understand, I couldn't either. Or maybe I was hiding from his arresting eyes.
