Faye's POV
Three days before the engagement ceremony, we arrived early at Sheffield Manor. Liam and Leander were in charge of setting up the venue, while my tasks included trying on dresses and greeting guests.
Annie, the headmistress, was the first guest to arrive, much earlier than I expected.
She winked at me as soon as we met. "Faye, I didn't expect to be attending your engagement ceremony so soon."
I resisted the urge to run away and smiled. "Neither did I."
Just then, Liam and Leander appeared.
"It's been a while, Headmistress Annie," Leander greeted her politely.
He was no longer dressed in his usual casual attire but in a tailored suit, looking like a prince from a fairy tale. Standing next to Liam, he instantly caught Annie's attention.
