Faye's POV
"It's me," Leander finally spoke.
I could hear the sorrow in his tone. Was he upset?
"What's wrong, Leander?"
He hesitated before answering, "Nothing... It's just that I miss you."
"Oh..." I smiled, "What silly talk is this? We saw each other at breakfast, didn't we?"
Leander's gaze dropped, and he paused, "It's been a while since this morning."
Oh, my moon goddess, how long had it been since we last met? Leander had turned into such a pitiful puppy, a far cry from what he acted last night. I couldn't resist it and my heart softened completely. I have to admit, I really loved this version of Leander!
"Come over," I beckoned to him, patting the space beside me on the bed.
Leander obediently sat down as he was told.
This was the second time we were this close since last
