Chapter 5 Mick didn’t mean to kiss Spencer. Kissing Spencer had been relegated to the file in his brain clearly labeled, “Love to, but bad idea.” It was supposed to reside there for the duration of the play’s run, and if they were still friends at the end—though Mick had to admit that he’d weigh whether or not that factor was truly important when the time came—he might consider taking it out, dusting it off, and revisiting it.
