Dressed in her flowing white gown, Morgan walked three steps behind her guard Tsu. Being the crown princess had its advantages. Not being questioned while leaving the palace grounds under escort was one of them. She resented the fact she needed an escort at all… Tradition, not reality, dictated the need. Morgan was more than capable of protecting herself. Tsu trained her well. She had a stable of tutors to teach her everything she needed to rule the empire if her father died without a male heir.
