I ran after him. He was making his way out of the pack house.
“Xavier, stop,” I yelled, but he was deaf to my words. I watched Xavier’s retreating, I could feel the anger emanating from him like a palpable force. I watch as he slams the door shut.
I know I messed up, but I wish he understood where I came from.
I jogged out of the pack house and scanned for any sign of Xavier after a few moments. I spotted him walking down the path that leads to the edge of the woods. I quickened my pace and finally caught up with him.
“Xavier, wait!” I called out, hoping to get his attention. I know he can hear me but was ignoring my calls. I wonder where he is planning to go.
