9. My new home

We've been driving for three hours, and the ride with Keith was surprisingly pleasant. We talked, we laughed, and got to know each other a little bit. I know now that Keith is an only child as his mother passed away when he was eight, and Alpha Marcus never remarried. I know that his Beta and Gamma also have no siblings, and all three of them are like brothers, but each one is very different from the other.

John is a cheerful one, always seeing the positives in every situation. Seth the Gamma is the dangerous one with a short temper and before meeting his mate Rose was quite a wild one. He is the best tracker in the whole pack.

As for himself, Keith said that he is a responsible one, what suits Alpha.

He asked me about my plans for the future and I didn't know what to say as I never thought about anything more than being someone's other half. Guess I'll have to give a future a second thought as Keith wasn't quite satisfied with my answers.

"Cecilia, can you see those lights, within a forest? That's your new home. Welcome Luna!" - he said smiling

"Wow, it looks beautiful! How many people live in the house?" - I asked

"Around 150."

"What?! That's a lot, very different from what I've been used to."

"Yeah, that's true. You see every unmated wolf over 18 can request a room in a pack house to flee the nest, and actually most do. It's a sort of passage to adulthood."

"Wow, pack house must be huge then. "

"Yes it is. Ground floor is the dining room, kitchen, mine and the guys offices, conference room and hospital wing. First floor is all for unmated females. Second for males. And the third floor is shared by Alphas, Betas and Gammas."

"I can't wait to see it." - I said excitedly

"5 more minutes My Love."

As a car stopped I was very excited to explore my new home. Home, rather a mansion, it looked very extravagant, a perfect place for me. In front of a massive building was a huge crowd. Guess all members of a pack heard of me and came to see who will be their female leader. How nice.

We get out of a car and stood in front of all those people, when Keith spoke:

"Dear Pack Members, I'm proud to introduce to you all your Luna Cecilia Abernathy, my Mate."

Crowd cheered and scand my name. Everybody was very welcoming. After sharing a lot of greetings and smiles we finally entered hous and may I say that inside it was even more impressive than on the outside. It was a very stylish compilation of classic elegance with modern finish. Every room was equipped with the newest technology, flat screens, consoles, AC, videophones in common spaces. You name it we got it.

After showing me the ground floor, Keith led me to Alpha rooms. Alpha suite was like a little apartment, with a living room, little kitchenette, and two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and closet.

Interior of an Alpha suit could use a little redecoration as it screams 'batchelor cave' from every corner. But just give me a while and in no time it will become a cosy nest for two.

Keith put my bag in the bedroom on the right, which was slightly less decorated without any personal stuff.

"This will be your badroom for the time being, feel free to change anything you want." - he said.

"Keith, what do you mean MY bedroom? Aren't we supposed to share a room?"

"Yes, and we will after the ceremony." - he replied

"Oh, and when would that be?" - I asked not knowing what to think about this separation

"I thought you would like to feel here more comfortable before taking all Luna's responsibilities."

I tought for a moment and stepped closer to him. If what I've heard about mate bonds was true I should be able to pull it off. So I placed one hand on his muscular chest and the other around his neck and said softly.

" I won't feel fully comfortable here as long as I'm not completely yours."

I heard his heartbeat start to speed up. He looked like he was fighting with his own thoughts, so I leaned a little towards him and licked my bottom lip. His eyes were no longer hazel, but black as night. It's working! I bit my bottom lip and that was all he needed to capture my lips with his. He started kissing me sensually at first, but with every passing second his movement became faster and hungrier. Wow, my Mate knows how to leave a Girl breathless! We stopped after a longer while, and pressed our foreheads together.

"As you wish my Luna! We will start with the preparations for the Luna ceremony right away, but still we need at least 3 days. Is that ok with you?"

"It's perfect, Alpha!" - I whisper. His eyes widened after I acknowledged his title and I almost immediately could feel something poking my belly.

Instead of going all the way on our first night I decided to wait for our ceremony, so that night would be this more special. I stood on my tiptoes and kissed his cheek.

"Thank you for everything! And goodnight Alpha!" - I said walking away from our embrace.

"Goodnight my Luna."
