Chapter 13:
The King and Queen both helped me out of the car and I felt weak with pain. Their touch on my skin felt wrong but as my legs were like jelly I didn’t complain. They led me inside and up the stairs to the top floor where they led me to a huge room that was twice the size of the room I had shared with Jared. The Queen took me into the bathroom and drew a cold bath and helped me strip from my clothes. I hate to admit it but I needed her help more than I am willing to admit. I got in the bath and sunk all the way to my chin in the cold water. It helped the burn of my skin slightly.
