Chapter 23:
When we entered the ballroom Sapphire started to shake slightly in my hold. I knew she was nervous and no matter what I could say she would continue to be nervous until she told Leo what was going on. I pulled her all the way to Leo and smiled at him as he smiled big and wide seeing his mate but quickly he sensed her nerves and looked at me questionably. “Sapphire has something she needs to tell you.” I say with a smile nudging Sapphire to get her to talk.
Sapphire took a sharp intake of breath and then whispered softly. “I’m with child.”
Leo blinked only for a fraction of a second before his smile got bigger and brighter and he swooped Sapphire from my arms and hugged her tightly but gently at the same time as he screamed for the entire room to hear. “I’M GOING TO BE A DAD!
