RIVER POV
After the training, i was very on edge, i knew what Shelly was trying to do, she was trying to t’est her to see if she had any weak spots, i didn't see any, but knowing Shelly she did, and she tested her on everything, after awhile Tasha was learning Shellys moves, she even knocked her on her ass, i wanted to laugh, but i knew that wasn't a good idea, a good trainer never laughs when someone falls, when we got up into the room, i told her to shower and meet me downstairs, i got to head to dads office to train for a bit, i never miss a training day with my father, even though he says it's okay, i just like spending time with my family, just because i have a mate now doesn’t mean i'm going to forget all about them. walking into my dads office, he was on the phone with someone, looking up he pointed at some paperwork with a pleading look on his face, i nodded sat down in front of the pile of work he had, i was looking through it the signing it, some i wanted him to look at, before i signed on the dotted line, so i moved them to the side, the others i finished reading then signed them, next i checked his email, wrote down the meetings that he needed to go to, to meet the new alphas of new packs, when all was done, he was done with his last and final call for the night. I didn't even notice when Tasha walked in then sat down, I was so busy with the paperwork and emails, i didn't even notice, I don’t think my dad did either. He was busy with the phone calls.
"Are you hungry, I'm sorry it took me so long, I was busy helping my dad with things for the kingdom.”
I thought so, it's the reason why i didn't want to disturb yall, both of you looked really busy, so i had the cooks, cook you something to eat, it should be up here in a few minutes, right when she said that, one of the cooks came in with two hot plates of food, i was glad that he was wearing oven mitts so his hands wouldn't burn, steak and potatoes i was starving, we both ate then Tasha took the plated to the kitchen, usually i do but she knew i was working so it was her turn, when she returned i was finally done helping my dad, i told him i would see him tomorrow before training, He told me that it was fine, and i didn’t need to he was going to spend the dad with mom, i nodded that gave me a idea for me and my mate, i just had to set everything up, She was about to come into the door when i was going out, i caught her before she bumped into me,
“How about a date, we can go to the theater up on the six floor, pop some popcorn and watch a movie,”
“That sounds like plan., i was wondering how many rooms this place had, i know you showed me around, but I never saw the theater room.”
“Well, come on i will show you, we ended up taking the elevator to the six floor, this floor had many things, game rooms theater rooms, even rooms to just spend time together when you want to be alone even hidden rooms when you alone just want to get away from everything, trust me i've used those rooms, when i wanted to get away from Shelly or just get away to think. Now my mind isn't even in those rooms, all I wanted to do was spend time with my mate. I showed her the room that had the theater inside of it. it had beanbag chairs, so we could cuddle with each other, it even had a small bed, but no s*x other people sat on them or laid on them they would end up falling a sleep before the movie ended, there was a small stove inside the room, i popped some popcorn,
“What movie do you want to see? we have Mad max, outer banks, blended, places in the heart, The Mule
“How about Meg do you have that one, or Meg2?” i didn't know what those movies where, when i saw the cover, it looked like a shark movie, cool i love to watch those kind of movies, i thought she was a chick flick kind of girl, but she wasn’t she was a action, comedy scary king of girl, I liked her even more, i got the movie going than sat down on the beanbag beside her, the movie started we ate the popcorn, i saw her cover her eyes on the scary parts, i had to admit, i tried not to flinch during the scary part, after the end of the movie, we ended up watching the wrong missy, we both laughed to most of the movie, by the third movie, it was getting pretty late, there was no training tomorrow, that's what dad had said, four days of training then the five day we take a break give our bodies a break, but the day after that is a lot worse because i make them do double everything, to make sure that they don’t forget anything, we want our kingdom strong, and we will keep it strong, that means my queen will be strong, i still would like to see what powers she has, i know she needs to learn to control them, but thats for another day, all i want now is to spend some time with her to get to know her more, we don’t always have to have s*x, she looked over at me while we were still in the room, she looked at the bed than back at me,
‘How about we lay down and talk. i'm really not in the mood to do anything else if that's fine,”
“Of course that's fine babe. we don’t always have to have s*x, come on let's lay down, but first let's lock the door so we won't be disturbed, there are other rooms where other people can watch movies. We laid down on the small bed,
‘So tell me about yourself, how old are you? how long have you been a trainer, and are you always this rough with the new recruits,”
‘Im 22, i've been a trainer for almost four years, and yes i've always been that rough, because we want this kingdom to be strong, rogues and other people always tries to attack here, they want what they can’t have, so we have to be always on our guard even if i have to be hard on them, just because your my mate doesn't mean i will be easy on you little mate, i want you to be able to defend yourself, and it seems you can,”
‘Well in my other pack, my father never let women train, so when the men trained, i would watch them and learn, i would even train in my basement when everyone was asleep, it was the only way i could, but i could only do it really quite, i couldn’t shift because i would get into trouble, but they never knew i would sneak outside to shift and run, i had to be careful because if they caught me, they would make me drink wolfbane to keep my wolf at bay, i knew Kora was strong, but i didn’t know how strong she was, im 18 and i love to learn new things, it's the reason why during training when i spar with someone, i watch what do then i learn, then i use their own moves on them, noones caught on,”
“I did, i saw what you was doing with Peggy and then with Shelly, you copied their movies, you even did a few of your own, i’m very proud of you,” we talked through the night not even knowing what time it was, i wasn’t even tired, and neither was she, i looked at my watch it was eight in the morning, damn we stayed up all night talking to get to know each other, she was so beautiful, she had told me how her father and her step mother had treated her, they used to beat her, then one day after her graduation, her family told her, they were giving her to alpha Stone as a debt p*****t, she ran away that's when the guard found her and brought her here, i was so glad that they found her, i would had still been looking for her, but that she is here, i wanted her to do what she could to train hard, in a few days is her ceremony, i was excited for her, we finally left the room, went to ours took a shower then got dressed, we decided we was going to go in town to eat breakfast, i wanted everyone to know who my mate was, and that i am not single anylonger, she is mine and i am hers,
