I felt like i was waiting all day to see my mate. It took all i had not to go upstairs to hold her in my arms because i missed her so much. i only got one link from her. She told me she would see me soon, then the link ended, and i knew she was nervous. i was nervous for her, When i told my father and mother that i asked Tasha to marry me, they were overjoyed, because then it wouldn’t be a surprise for her when she was done with the ceremony it was finally time for her to come down to the grandhall, i had forgotten to show this to her, but thats okay, she will see it when she gets here, When the doors opened everyone in this hall turned to see who was coming, every pack around the kingdom was here, my father knew one day there was going to be a mate for me, so he happily built on to it, the hall was almost as big as the castle, and that's pretty big, The crowd was gasping and moving out of the way, i saw my mate, she had a beautiful sky blue dress on, that showed off her shoulders, Lynn knew that she would look good in that dress, it's the reason why she picked it out, She walked her to the stage where we were standing, I took Tasha’s hand as Lynn stood beside my parents, this was it, shes up here with me now, my father and mother stepped forward,
King Erick…Ladies in gentlemen, we are here today to announce that my son had found his mate, and his bride, we are happy to announce that her name is Tasha Green, she's been with us for several weeks now, and i'm very proud of her training, she's one tough warrior, Furthermore, His mother and myself have decided we will be stepping down a week, i wanted to surprise River with the news tonight,” i was shocked, my mouth dropped opened then i hurried to close it, yeah that was a big shock, but i am ready to be king, i will not fail my parents, i will make them proud of me,
“River, will you do the honors of handing me your right hand, son?” i nodded handing him my right hand, he took the royal dagger from the table, he sliced his hand then sliced mine, we put them together as one, his power of king was going into me,
:”Son, do you promise to protect this kingdom like I have always done, to make sure the people of the kingdom and the packs around are safe, do you promise to protect your mate and to love her and be always faithful to her, never betray her or the kingdom?”
:Yes, father, I promise to do everything that you had asked, i will never betray the kingdom.” he took his crown off his head, placing it on my head,
“Behold the new King my son River, he will be taking over in one week that way i can get everything in order before he takes over, son take your mates hands in yours,” i did what my father had told me to do, it was now my mothers turn for her to do this with Tasha, my mother stepped forward, smiling at the both of us, the took Tasha hand in hers, “Ladies in Gentlemen, like my husband had said we will be stepping down in a week, i am proud of my son and his new mate, she has came a long ways training hard and getting over things that caused her to come here in the first place, i am very proud of her, Tasha,do you promise to protect this kingdom like I have always done, to make sure the people of the kingdom and the packs around are safe, do you promise to protect your mate and to love her and be always faithful to her, never betray her or the kingdom, Do you promise to stand by my son through the hardest times, even fight beside him during war, to help the young and the old, and put him in his place from time to time when he needs it, do you promise to rule with a iron fist but with a loving heart,
:Yes i promise with all my heart and soul,” My mother cut her hand and then Tasha hand they put their hands together we could feel the power going from my mother to my mate, it took a few minutes and after it was done, i had to catch Tasha, i had to hold her for a few minutes making sure she was okay, then when she was she stood there with her head held high smiling at everyone, it was our turn, my father put a rope over mine and her hand, there was a weird feeling with the rope dad said that it was binding me and her together, when it was done, he cut my hand and her hand then we placed them together, we where now as one and married, we raised our hands up in the air and everyone cheered, but i couldn't stop this feeling that something was going to happen, i just didn't know what just yet, and i hope when i figure it out, it won't be too late, there was food and drinks and music, everyone was having a good time and i was glad about that, there was even people dancing, i pulled my wife down from the stage to dance with her, it tuned out she was a good dancer, when the song ended, i whispered in her ear,
“That dress is going to look so much better on the floor tonight. Tell me when you want to leave. I don't think anyone is going to notice that we are gone,”
