Cara pov
The next morning, i knew i had a week to sign up for classes, so i picked today to head to the college to sign up, as people do not know i want to be a doctor at the castle, i have a few months left then i will be training with the other doctor in the castle, I went to sign up, then came home, i went out to train with the rest of the group, i even trained with Tasha, after training, i talked to my brother,
‘Hey big brother, can i steal your mate for a few hours, i'm going to take her shopping, we won't be long,”
"Are you going to tell her how mean I was to you growing up, sis?”
“You bet i will, maybe she will kick your ass a time or two, maybe even elbow you a few times, maybe even deny you s*x for awhile,” i was teasing about that, but he raised his eyebrow at me, i couldn't help but laugh a bit.
“Oh come on, it's not that bad,”
“What's not that bad?” Tasha came up from behind us, making us both jump, i laughed when i told her what i was planning to do, she giggled, knowing i was only joking, So are you ready to go shopping my treat, i'm sure River can do without you for a few hours, right, He rolled his eyes than laughed, will you to go i can't miss yall until yall leave, oh one of the guards are going with you,. Lynn is going shopping with you, you never know if those ass holes are watching or not, and i'm not taking any chances,” right when he said that, Lynn walked around the corner with her purse on her arm including another guard, Polly, i remember her, she ripped off two rogues heads at the same time, i remembered when i was just a pup, they were coming after mom, and she stopped them, I was excited to see her,
‘Alright girls let's go, i want to go shopping, I plan on spoiling my sister in law, come on Tasha, lets go, we headed to my jeep we got in and i pulled the top off, the wind was blowing through our hair while we drove to the mall, when we got there, they helped me put the top back on, then we went inside the mall, we hit the shirts and pants store, i wanted some ripped jeans, not the kind that shows off the whole legs, just enough for the knees, i liked them like that, i bought a few shirts, i noticed that Tasha wasn't getting anything,
“Girl, i am buying, it's okay, you can get a few things. i promise it's alright, it was like she was scared, what is wrong with this girl? then i remembered what i saw, I understood,
“Come on. Let's head to another store to see if you like anything that's in there,
TASHA POV
I didn't know what to think of River’s sister Cara, she was so friendly but also protective, i didn't know what to say around her, it was like she would hurt anyone over her family, and i didn’t want to step over my boundaries, I've only been here for a few weeks now, Mollie and Erick, has been so kind to me, i feel like i am finally home here, When she wanted to go shopping, i knew i already had enough clothes i didn't know what to do when she said she wouldn't be upset if i gotten a few things, i didn't like anything in this store, i liked a few shirts, but they just cost so much, so i decided not to get anything, plus i had my own money, so the next store we go in ill get something and buy it for myself, we went into the dress store, i knew there was going to be a party soon, so i wanted to buy a few dresses, there were a lot of dresses, its going to take a bit to look around, by the time i found some, i found five dresses, two backless, two strapless and two off the shoulder., i tried them on and they looked perfect, i made it up to the counter just as Cara, Polly and lynn showed up to it at the same time, the cashier rung me up, i was taking my card out to beep it, but Cara stopped me,
‘Girl please just let me get this for you. It's my treat okay, next time we go shopping, you can buy me something okay,”
‘Okay, you remember that. This is the only way i will let you do this if you let me buy next time. I don't want you to get into trouble buying me anything.” she looked at me like i had grown two more heads, shaking her head she beeped her card for hers and mine, i don’t want to tell you how much these dresses cost, but they cost a pretty dollar or two grand, next we went to the jewelry store, I got River a nice gold watch, i knew he would have to take it off, or only wear it when he was in the office, or out on a date with me, but i was sure he would like it, i got a couple of bracelets, and rings, then we went to the victoria secret, i was a little shy about this but i wanted to buy something sexy, maybe a bra and panty set, i also got something that was see through with a rob that matched, i will be wearing the bra and panty set tonight, i hoped he likes it, i paid for my stuff then we started to head home, I couldn’t stop feeling like someone was watching me, the hairs on my neck was standing up, the last time i felt like this is when my father was about to beat me when i shifted to go for a run, I suddenly stopped when the girls almost collided into me,
‘What's wrong, Tasha? You're white as a ghost?” I swore i saw my step sister watching me from the food court, she was with a young handsome man, was this her mate, it couldn't be her, because she always dressed in slutty clothes, but this girl was fully dressed with light makeup, i wanted to get back home, i wanted to go anywhere but stay here, i didn’t want to be here anymore, my nerves were a wreck now and i feel like i was going to have a break down, i stood there frozen my feet wouldn't move, it took Polly and Lynn with Cara to calm me down, i was on the edge of tears, I turned dropping my bags running out of the mall, The girls caught up with me with my bags and theirs, Cara grabbed me she kept me running in front of a car, she dropped her bags holding me in place, i knew she was linking someone, i just didn't know who it was, Sitting down on a bench, she was holding me rocking me back in forth, whispering,
‘Tasha, it's going to be okay honey, i promise no one is going to hurt you, i promise,”
‘I..I..I..sa..sa.saw her, my step sister,, she was here watching me, if dad finds out where i'm at, he's going to come after me, I.i.i,, need to go, i need to get out of here, please just let me go please, the girls surrounded me, making sure no one would come near me, Cara bent down in front of me taking my hands in hers,
“Honey look at me, look at me come on you can do this look at me, now listen to me carefully okay, take a deep breath, now let it out, noone is going to come after you, i won't let them, River is on his way right now he should be here really soon, i promise you, you are safe right now, no one will ever hurt you again, come on breath honey, breath in now breathe out, come on you can do it, there you go sweety, now i'm going to stand up and sit beside you okay,” i couldn't believe i was acting like this, but seeing my sister again brought back so many memories, i just needed to get out of there, i started having a panic attack, i didn't know how to come out of it, until Cara helped me, what the hell am i going to now since that girl saw me, she's going to go back and tell dad and then he's going to come after me, i need to find a way to get the hell out of here, i don't want to put them in danger,
‘Tasha, please can we just talk, i promise i just want to talk” it was her, i looked up at her i got up, and i went ape s**t, i attacked her,
