Caitlyn wondered why Evans was avoiding her. She said Evans could share anything, including her sadness, with Caitlyn. Caitlyn soon followed Evans.
"Don't come near me," Evans said.
"You don't have to be ashamed of me, Evans," Caitlyn replied.
"I'm sorry, but I don't want to be disturbed." Evans was not a man who usually showed weakness in front of others. Although he began to open his heart to Caitlyn, it did not mean he had to up his life problems to Caitlyn.
"I don't want to say anything. So, please don't ask and stay away from me." Evans is getting a denial.
Caitlyn felt that Evans' demeanor had suddenly changed. She then tried to touch Evans. Perhaps Evans stiffened at her touch.
"Get out of the way!" And Evan swatted Caitlyn's hand away, causing Caitlyn to fall to the floor.
