“So, after running some test and doing the needed blood work, everything came back as perfect as you could impossibly imagine.” Dr. Coyne said to us. I sat in the room with Summer and Ellie, who was playing on the bed with some of her toys, waiting for us to get the word that she can come home. Summer has been awfully quiet since I came back yesterday. She said she needed to talk to me about something but every time she went to say something, someone else was in the room and she would shut down. I was afraid of what she would say. I can only hope it wasn't anything too bad or worrisome. I don't know how much more we all can take.
