When she finally broke and told me her story, my heart hurt for her. I didn’t realize how rough she had it when she was younger. Her and Jo have so much in common, no wonder why Jo talks to Summer about what happened with her mom and Frank. I promised myself I would do everything possible to protect her against everything life will throw at us. It also confirmed that I need to sit her down and tell her about my past. In my mind, it was no where near as bad as hers, but I need to prepare her for my dad and the hurricane he can make happen.
