Forbidden Link

22. Beginning Point

After his five senses didn't work for a few seconds, Alex woke up again in the same place as when he entered the forbidden link world for the first time. With a sleeping position on the table, Alex woke up the second time in the same class. Same position of the tables. Same scenery outside the window. Like a deja vu, Alex also looked the same woman had been spawn as he looked back. And when Alex realized that woman was one of the NPCs who had pushed and shouted at him before he was here again, he never saw these NPCs the same as before.

Alex tried to remember one by one the events that happened one minute ago. He and Bianca had been in a class that was very similar to the class he was currently in but had a door at the back of the classroom and dozens of NPCs around it. Marvin had betrayed him by walking out of the room from the exit door and leaving himself and Bianca behind. Bianca had looked really scared when the NPCs had started to move and it seemed that Bianca's fear had been pulling the NPCs towards the girl. The more scared Bianca looked, the more aggressive the NPC had been to corner Bianca.

Still trying to remember all the details that happened during the attack from the NPCs, Alex was still feeling the urges by the NPCs when he tried to help Bianca. After the focus of the NPCs split into two, namely towards himself and Bianca, Alex had tried to get out of the crowd but couldn't. Instead of helping Bianca, Alex had been cornered by the NPCs so he couldn't move.

Yes, could not move. Alex sighed loudly as he recalled his completely helpless state. His body had been treated abusively by the body of the NPCs. His face had been hit by the hands of the NPCs that were trying to grab him. And after being unable to support his body anymore, Alex had fallen and his body had been not only pressed by the bodies of the NPCs but had been kicked by the legs of the surrounding NPCs. He didn't even know how many legs had kicked him and how long he had held in that position. But when Alex had tried to close his eyes with his arms crossed in front of his face, his mind suddenly went blank. It had been as if he had taken a high dose of sleeping pills and in a split second he had lost consciousness. And his consciousness only returned when he woke up at the starting point of the forbidden link world.

Unlike before, Alex chose to sit in the chair longer. He didn't want to hurry up and leave the classroom like the first time. Leaning back against the back of the chair, Alex looked to the side with his eyes trying to catch the movement of the figure approaching him. With a mischievous smile, Alex suddenly had some idea what he would to about that NPC. When a male NPC was beside him, Alex moved his right foot to the side to block the NPC's footsteps.

"Thud!"

The male NPC who was tackled by Alex fell and caused his body to hit the floor. Before the NPC managed to get up, Alex moved from his seat and sat on the back of the NPC who had fallen face down on the floor. The NPC tried to get up several times, but Alex weight could hold it better and let the NPC become like a hostage.

“I can't fight you guys when there are so many. But if you're alone it turns out to be easy," said Alex to a creature he knew would not respond to his words.

With a mischievous smile, Alex held the NPC who was trying to stand up from his lying down position. One of Alex's goals for taking down NPCs was to get revenge. Of course, Alex hated the NPCs that had brought him back to the beginning point. The sensation of the NPCs attacking him also made Alex uncomfortable. It was as if he had just received an attack from a zombie that didn't bite. So Alex quite enjoyed the situation which made the NPC seem helpless.

In addition to revenge, actually the main purpose of Alex taking down NPCs was to find out if there were items in the NPC's clothes that could be used to add clues. Alex tried to search every pocket in the NPC’s clothes but nothing. The NPCs only wore school uniforms without carrying a single thing on their bodies.

Before Alex stood up and left the NPC's body, suddenly the figure he sat above disappeared first so that Alex fell into a sitting position from a height of about thirty centimeters. It did not hurt at all, but the disappearance of the NPC made Alex quite surprised. His butt needed to adapt from the soft texture from the body of the NPC to hard texture from the floor.

Several seconds later Alex heard the sound of footsteps. A female NPC walked beside Alex who was still sitting on the floor. Alex looked up and saw the female NPC who was trying to find her way between the two tables which became cramped because Alex was blocking the way.

The face of the NPC girl did look flat but quite beautiful. The body was also quite excited. Moreover from Alex's position he could see slightly what was inside the skirt that NPC wore. White thighs and also the pastel color what was between. Alex's thoughts began to branch with the NPC girl's face as the trigger for his thoughts.

“If they didn't disappear, maybe people would like to play with these NPCs… hmm… that means people out there who enter the forbidden link world might ask this NPC to be the main character. Then they can do anything to those NPCs.”

Alex shuddered at assuming people could do a lot in their respective forbidden link worlds. They could create their condition as they wish like this school building until creating NPC to fill up the surrounding. If helpless people outside want so badly, they could even make their idols become their partners, such as dating the artist or singer they like. And also make love with them.

"Of course I wouldn't have done it if I could think sanely. But people who are already disillusioned with the real world, may be able to do so because their minds are already damaged,” said Alex to himself with a proud tone because he thought he was still sane.

A conclusion that the NPC was the wish of the one who made this forbidden link world made Alex wonder about his own sister. What is Kaira doing here? Why would those NPCs be in a world that Kaira might have created? Question after question was trying to be branched as Alex began to question. However Alex had to stop it as he realized that all the possibilities in his head were not a validated fact.

Finally Alex stood up after a few minutes of thinking while sitting on the floor. Tired of being in the same class all the time, Alex decided to move on. He already knew what he was going to do after this and all he had to do. Firstly, he needed to find his partner who should be back to the beginning like him. But he did not know his partner's condition now. So as he walked down the corridor of the high school which was much longer than his old high school, Alex thought about how to convince his partner, Bianca, to continue their journey in the next room.
