Oswald looked out the window of the flat he and Joshua were here to see. The café was right across the street and the studio was in the same building, so it wouldn’t take him more than a minute or two to get to work. The grocery shop, on this side of the road, would take no more than a few minutes’ walk either. It was perfect—he hated it. He already missed the huge trees surrounding Joshua’s cabin, he longed for the silence, the peace.
“It’s just for six months, to begin with.” The woman Joshua was talking to giggled annoyingly.
“Yes, we know.”
