Brandy Nate unpacked what he brought while I laid out the sleeping bag and propped the pillows against the wall so we had a comfortable place to sit. Once I plopped down, I looked over at what he had brought. He'd snuck some snack foods that wouldn't spoil, some water bottles, soda and, of course, a bottle of whiskey. Yep. I was definitely going to drown my sorrows tonight. I didn't wait, I reached for the alcohol, opened it and took a deep swig straight from it. Nate chuckled. "I don't blame you one bit, blackberry.
