Brandy It was just after noon when Nate and I woke up. “Morning, blackberry,” Nate mumbled against my forehead as he pulled me closer into him. Our legs were intertwined, arms holding each other loosely. It almost felt like old times. “It’s afternoon,” I grumbled, tucking my head under his chin, not quite awake or ready to get up. He chuckled. “Grumpy are we?” I sighed. Yeah. I was. “I don’t want to get up yet.” “We can lay here as long as you want to, baby,” he reassured.
