When I woke up the next morning, I was alone in Axel’s bed.
I slowly sat up and glanced around where I found both Nate and Axel sitting at the little table in the corner, hovered around a laptop. What was going on?
Easing myself out of bed, I made my way over to them and peered over their shoulders. Nate glanced back at me, not surprised to see me standing there. He most likely heard me coming.
It wasn’t hard to decipher what I saw on the screen.
There was a rather good view of the courtroom with several sharply dressed individuals, including Senator Ross. They had just finished stating what they were charging the senator with, which included intent to murder and first degree murder. All of which the senator plead not guilty to.
