Brandy I didn't look at what was in the folder. I didn't care. It could have been nothing. Axel could have left me high and dry and I wouldn't have known. Everything seemed so empty and hollow after I left Axel's. It didn't feel right, after what we just shared, I didn't want to leave. But I had to, just in case. Nate seemed to know I needed silence and space when we left. He turned the music in the car on low and just drove. He even kept his hands to himself. Here recently, he started holding my hand the instant we were safely in the car. Right now, though, he was being respectful and I was grateful to him for that.
