Chapter 19 - The Bluff
Lucille's POV
I walk out of the fancy glass elevator and walk straight towards a small reception desk that I notice up ahead. Since I was speed walking, I didn't take in my surroundings as I should have, but I could swear I saw bold lettering on the wall I just past that my brain arranged into TORETTI. Chased by my demons, much?
I reach the desk I was eyeing and smile at the young woman seated there, looking like she's a hostess at one of the nightclubs. I chuckle a little to myself. Boy oh boy, do they need me. The company needs to be clean and business like, even if it dabbles into the entertainment of owning and operating deluxe nightclubs.
I make a mental note to bring that up later, but I need to see if the eye candy before me in because of my new boss' ina
