Lucy's POV
We've made it to Milan and unfortunately we didn't face any issues gaining entry into the excusive event, as your truly was so desperately hoping. Thomas used his connections and a friend of our father's, or a business partner or some sorts, got us on the guest list last minute. It would also seem like the guy knows Franco as well, so I make sure to stay as far away from him as possible.
As we sit down for the auction to start, my skin starts heating up and then cooling down at an impossibly fast rate.
