Before I could feel happy about it, I looked up in confusion and met Mandy's gaze. She winked at me and pointed at Zoe, who lowered her head immediately, looking like she wanted to bury herself.
The others had strange expressions too. Stella was also looking at me with a displeased expression. When I met her graze, she glared at me and turned away.
"Are you teaming up against me? You'll face your karma for trying to separate me from Zack!" Crystal protested unhappily.
Seeing Crystal's reaction, I finally realized that Mandy must have put Zoe up to this. After all, it was Crystal who had slept on my right side the previous night.
