We got lucky. By the next afternoon, we found a new cave. We had to thank the wolf cub, White, for this. White had grown up. With Stella's training, he could now go hunting with me. Wolves were natural hunters. Even though White was young, he could help me chase small prey, like wild chickens and foxes, better than some grown hunting dogs. Today, White led me to a hidden stone cave in the northern forest. The cave entrance was covered by many plants, making it well hidden. Inside, it was spacious, and best of all, there was a spring. It would make fetching water much easier for us. I noticed that the spring had fresh water and seemed quite deep, likely connected to groundwater. Occasionally, small fish and shrimp swam in it. 'If we ever run out of food, we can catch fish. It's perfect.'
