Cara’s POV
I felt a thrill as I pushed myself up on my toes to kiss him. I wanted to reach his mouth, but even on my tiptoes, I couldn’t reach his lips. I kissed what I could, right below his jawline. I wanted to remind him of where we were earlier, at the hospital. I would not let this night end without his mark on me. I had seen the mark on Cheryl’s neck when she had come to visit me in the hospital. A werewolf mark was bold, and there was a reason for it. Werewolfs were highly possessive creatures, both the males and the she-wolfs alike. So their marks were always clearly visible, even from a distance, to warn others that they were taken.
