Cara’s POV
I had a fun time at our training this morning. It was rare for us not to suffer comments or glares as Brenna explained the moves to me. It was a good thing that we got to skip all the issues today. We didn’t have Lena and her group watching us and making snide comments for whatever reason. I was not really worried that they would hurt us. I knew enough now to make anyone who approached me sorry they tried.
I just didn’t want to cause any trouble for Brenna or Jaxon. They didn’t deserve to have to protect me from the backlash I would get for defending myself.
