Lena’s POV
Sunday, three more days until the Luna Ceremony
I had taken Jana and Anika to a motel on the city's outskirts the day after they were banished. It wasn’t a great place, but at least they each had a bed. I had to go to the store and get them the light cancelling drapes for them to be safe from the sunlight. I bought a cover that people hang in their backyards to create a sunshade to sit in to protect them from the sun. That made it easier for them to travel with, as the sun would have burned them. I paid for the room for a week and told them that we didn’t need the room to be cleaned, Just fresh towels brought to the room daily.
