Saoirse’s POV
I had just gotten my release and was coming down when I heard the low growl. I guess I was so used to no one being able to come into my home that I felt safe enough not to keep my guard up. I figured out pretty quickly that I was not dealing with Robert. I could feel their anger, frustration, and desire. They didn’t try to hide any of it from me. He pushed it all out so I could feel every last emotion that they had towards me.
I knew that Robert was different from James. It wasn’t just the rejection. Losing my daughter for over twenty years really took my pain up several levels.
