Paxton’s POV
I texted Lena last night to call me sometime this morning, but she didn’t answer. She texted me that she had training and then her work to do before she could leave the pack to make sure that she was not overheard. She is pissing me off, as we only have five days to get the plan in place. We would be putting the plan into play on the sixth day, so I was getting nervous. Things needed to move forward properly, and Lena was the holdup. It was a slap to my face, but as an Alpha, I knew that she had to do her job in the pack. So, I forced myself to calm down. I would have dropped her, but she is the only way I can get Cara and her sisters back. I have to play nice for now.
