I was actually very glad to see that Alexei is no longer holding back from Cara. I have known how he felt about her from the moment I met him. He would die for my daughter, and his feelings for her were very strong. As far as I was concerned, he would love her until their dying days, which made me very happy. I was glad that whatever happened while I was gone resulted in what looked to be my daughter now accepting Alexei as her mate.
Cara blushed as Alexei set her back on her feet. I don’t know how long he had kissed her, but it was a very romantic scene when I returned.
