Jaxon’s POV
I could feel how nervous she was, but I plan on having her fully marked and mated before I introduce her to the pack. I was never going to give her up. She is mine, and I will fight to the death for her. Now I knew how Alexei felt. He was so anxious about his mate getting away right after she arrived. I almost wished that he had told me that one of the rogues was my mate. I would have stayed at the gate all afternoon until they arrived. I would have made sure that Paxton knew it was already too late. He would have to give it up, especially since all three of them had mates.
It has been a while since I have heard of something so disgusting. How could Paxton have gone along with that plan? How vile was the Kamaria Pack? I was going to have the council look into it.
