Brenna’s POV
Jaxon had just left and I already missed him. I knew why he brought me here. He wanted me to feel more secure staying with my sisters. But I honestly would have liked to have gone to the gate and told those three assholes what I really thought of them now that I was safe. I was very happy to see how well Cara looked this morning. She actually seemed happy, and I haven’t seen her so happy in over the last five years.
