Cara’s POV
Sunday Afternoon
I know that Adra is not going to let this go. I can see it on my mother's face; she knows it, too. Everyone was quiet until my mother said, “Let’s go train, Cara. I need to teach you a few new things. We will go to the training building, and I will get you all settled. Then I will take Robert home to grab a shower”
“I don’t need a shower, love. I will stay with you, and we can shower when we get home,” Robert told her. I knew that it had meant a lot to Mom with everyone jumping to her defense earlier. It was clear to all of us that Adra was pissed off and jealous. She had made everyone feel really uncomfortable, and we needed a change of location. Hopefully, this will get everyone’s mind off what happened.
