Cara’s POV
I was a little worried about opening the envelope. It was addressed to me, but it had been spelled. I guess that was why it hadn’t been opened before. It still had a wax seal on it, and I knew it had to be from my mother as it had an S imprinted in the wax. I was wondering how long it had been in my father’s safe. I was glad that I had something from my mother, but I was nervous to open it.
The moment I opened the letter, I could tell my life would change completely. I didn’t know how to feel about that. I wanted to know what my mother had sent me. I also wanted to know how long my father had kept this letter from me. I am saddened to know he didn’t give it to me after I turned eighteen. He told me how much I had disappointed him the day I didn’t receive my wolf.
