I am sitting in Isabella's room waiting on her to wake. I feel angry but Nick ordered me to apologize and talk with her. She whimpers in her sleep and turns over curling up in a ball. I sit staring as she starts begging for her mom to stop. Great this s**t again. When Nick found her and brought her home she had nightmares for a year about that worthless b***h.
I got up and head to her bed and sit. I reach out and touch her gently. I feel like s**t I made her cry and feel bad about herself. She slowly wakes and gasps at seeing me. I keep my face blank as I look at her. She sits up slowly and carefully looks around. She seems confused.
"did I forget to do something? ",she ask shaking.
I sigh."no I just wanted to apologize for being so mean and saying what I said about your mother. That b***h should die because of the way she treated you. The reason I am here is because we found our mate".
She nods and I sigh. "its you Bella your our mate and we need to figure out how to get along".
She looks ready to faint. I go to touch her and she flinches. I growl and she whimpers in fear.
"stop and let me f*****g touch you Bella".
She stops moving and I reach out and cup her face. I love the tingles and soon pull her to me. She gasped and tears fill her eyes.
"please don't Caleb.. Please just let me go",she says shaking.
"no,I growl, I can touch you all I want Bella",I growl forcing her into my lap. I surprise myself by holding her and sniffing her. She starts crying and hides her face in my chest. I feel so many emotions as she finally hugs me as I try to comfort her.
"Bella",I say softly.
She looks up and I kiss her forehead.
"Caleb",she says looking scared of my next move. I caress her cheeks and pull her into my arms again. She doesn't fight to get away and that makes me happy.
"Bella we all need to talk with you about being our mate. You need to know all it entails honey",I say rubbing her back.
"okay ",she says shyly hugging me and for once not running away. I hold her for awhile till her stomach growls and she apologizes.
"you are hungry Bella",I say letting her go. She looks reluctant to get out of my lap but I help her up and stand. I hold her hand and lead her out of her room and to our kitchen. We enter and Lucas comes over and hugs her. She hugs back unsure if we plan on hurting her.
I sigh and lift her to sit on the counter. She blushes making us three laugh. "she needs food Nick order something ",I demand.
He glares at me and pulls out his phone. "what would you like tiny",he says looking at her fondly.
"anything is fine Nick ",she says looking nervous cause all four of us were here with her at one time.
"nonsense tiny what do you like to eat? "
She looks down. "I like salads alot",she mumbles.
"well you need meat or something to put weight on cause your to thin as it is",Nick says getting irritated.
I growl and he looks up from his phone and sees her face. She looks hurt and ready to leave the room. I step between her legs and kiss her forehead. She doesn't flinch which surprises us all.
"pizza is also fine ",she says looking at the floor as Nick calls and places an order for her. I lift her down and take her to our living room for our talk.
She sits with us facing her and she looks scared and ready to bolt.
"lets talk about you as our mate",I say watching her face.
