CH: 3 Mess With Wrong Woman

Leela's POV
The boy had red hair just like Alpha Ken. He had a friendly smile on his face. And I guessed he was a young guy.
"Sure, sit down." I said pointing to the empty seat.
He was a werewolf boy. Still I didn't feel any anger from him. If I did I wouldn't even let him stand in front of me. I learned to recognize people's vibes to know if they are a threat to me or not.
You can say, I have had this absolute ability since birth. I can feel people vibes more clearly than others. I always use this ability to avoid danger. I recognized the boy's warmth more than any other normal human. It means he is a werewolf. But with this boy I still felt a little safer. He has a good aura around him.
He smiled lovingly once again and sat down on an empty seat next to me.
"Hi, I'm Harry. And you?" The boy introduced himself as trying to be normal.
"My name is Leela." I said calmly.
"Are you new here? I haven't seen you here before." The boy tried really hard to talk nicely to me. But he was getting really nervous.
"Yes! I am new to this city. Just consider me a tourist. I will stay here for a few days and then go back for a tour. By the way, looking at you, it seems that you are a regular at this club." I said, sipping my drink slowly. I gave him a chance to get comfortable.
"Yes, I'm regular here. That's why I have never seen a beautiful woman like you here before." He tried to impress me by using a cheap line.
But I can guess that this guy does not seem to be the expert approach to girls. He is definitely doing this out of some compulsion. Maybe, someone forced him to do this.
"Now stop buttering me up and come to the point. What do you want from me?" I asked him, smiling.
"Okay, I will get to the point. Will you dance with me? Just one dance, please." He said in a hurry.
"There are many girls here who are more beautiful than me. Why only me?" I asked, smiling.
"I… I am not very good with girls. I have two older brothers who have bet me that if I dance with any beautiful girl today, they will stop calling me a kid." Harry told everything shyly.
“So you chose me as a part of the bet? Why me?” I asked curiously.
“Because you are not like the other girls. The other girls are flirting with every man who comes to the club. You are the only one who looks different to me. And I'm not flirting with you. I just came here and asked for a dance. Anyway, I don’t want to flirt with anyone other than my mate. Mate means…” Harry tried to say.
“I know what Mate means.” I said smiling.
“How? You are a human. Then how do we know about wolves?” Harry asked, surprised.
“I told you. I am a traveler. I have met many werewolves and many other shifters.” I said without giving much details.
“Oh, okay. This is the first time I have met a human who is not afraid of us.” Harry said happily.
“Let’s dance otherwise your brothers think you have lost the bet.” I got up from my seat without taking the topic further.
“Okay.” Harry also got up from his seat.
He took my hand in his like a gentleman and we both went to the dance floor.
The music in the club was very good. So we both started dancing. We were dancing together. But our reasons were different. He was dancing to win his bet, whereas I was dancing in the joy of achieving my goal.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him close. He was startled and started staring at me.
“You want to convince your brother that you have wooed me. So come close and dance like this. They both will think that we are having fun on the dance floor." I whispered in his ear in a naughty tone.
He nodded and started dancing with a bright smile.
While dancing, he waved his hand while looking in the other direction. I looked at him questioningly and he pointed in the direction of the sofa. As soon as I looked around, I saw two red eyes. Which froze me like ice.
My world stops for a second. He was Alpha Ken sitting with another guy. And Alpha Ken's angry red eyes were on me.
I can feel that he is not happy to see me here. But suddenly the girl from that morning turned his face and kissed Alpha Ken.
Then I felt a sharp pain in my wrist. And it was not because of his kiss, but the pain was coming from my wrist. I looked at my watch. It was 9 pm. This is the time due to which a dose of poison was injected in my wrist.
“s**t!" I turned to Harry.
"What happened?" Harry asked, looking at me in confusion.
"My time is up. I have to go now. See you next time." I kiss him on the cheek.
"But why are you leaving now? We are having fun. Can we meet again?" he made a face.
"We can meet. Maybe tomorrow." I thought and answered him.
"Can I have your number?" he asked with shining eyes.
I look at Alpha Ken on Harry's request. I don't want to make any mistake by giving Harry my number. Otherwise Alpha Ken will be more angry with me. Like he seems to be now and his angry eyes are fixed on me.
At the same time the pain in my wrist is increasing. I should take my pills soon. Otherwise I won't get relief.
"Sure...give me your phone." I said in a hurry.
Harry gave me his phone and I put my number on his phone. I gave him the phone.
"Thank you for accepting my request. And we will definitely meet again." Harry said shyly. And kissed me on the cheek like a good boy. I can't stop smiling.
“Listen to me carefully. If you want to live life, then live it on your own terms. Not on someone else's terms. If the other person is not accepting of you the way you are, then you should not live for them.” I said, patting his cheek.
“Okay. Thank you.” Harry said smiling.
“I'll leave now.” I waved my hand and said goodbye to Harry.
I almost ran out of the club, right now I don't care about others or even Alpha Ken looking at me strangely. Right now I just want to go back to my motel room and take my pills. So that I get the strength to fight this increasing pain.
“Wait!” A deep voice came in my ears.
No! Not now- not now!
I ignore his voice and keep walking towards the cab. Before I can go ahead and open the cab door, a cold hand catches my arms. He pulls me back.
He forcefully turned me towards him. I don't want to try to look into his eyes because my eyes would have turned dark green by now. Due to the effect of the poison my eyes turn green for some time. I don't want him to see me like this.
"Didn't I warn you not to come in front of me again, I hate you bloody human. Why are you here? Are you after my brother now? Tell me what did you want from him? Why did you seduce my little brother?" Alpha Ken looks very angry.
"I don't want anything from him. I don't know that Harry is your brother." I try to say.
"Nonsense! You, humans, always look for money to live a luxurious life. So get that life woman like you look for rich people and seduce them. And I hate gold diggers like you. But warning you don't try to seduce my brother. He is innocent, not someone like you." He snapped me in sharp words.
"Someone like me? A gold digger? What did you know about me, except that I'm human? You hate me because I'm human. I understand that when you make clear that you didn't want a human mate. But you have no right to insult me every time you see me." I try to speak as loudly as I can. But my knees are losing strength.
"You! Well, I don't have time to waste on you! So here's the card, it has fifty million in it. With this money you can live a luxurious life. But leave this city before morning. I don't want you around me or my brothers, got it? And if I see you again, I will kill you for sure." He said as he put the black card in my hand and turned to leave.
"You are such a coward Alpha..." I said angrily.
"What did you say?" He growled at me. His eyes turned black, I turned my eyes away.
"The truth is always bitter. Do you think all girls are gold diggers? There are good and bad people in humans. Just like there are other shifters. Just like your wolves also have lustful wolves. Don't they?" I said irritably looking at the card in my hand.
“If you think I want money from you then you are full of nonsense! I am a human being so my mind and heart are in the right place, not like some dogs who look down on others just because they are rich or say that dogs are big. We humans are better than those cowardly dogs.” I sneeze in anger.
He still didn't react to my words. Maybe, he was thinking that I'm just baffling.
“Keep this card. Help some poor person who is not greedy for money in your eyes. This money of yours is of no use to me.” I threw his black card in his face. And I turned to leave.
I must leave this place, but before I do he must learn that he has messed with the wrong woman. I am not a weak woman who can let someone stronger than me trample my dignity. I can fight till the last breath in my body.
Before I could move Alpha Ken grabbed my neck and pinned me against the wall. His eyes were filled with anger, darker than before. He growled at me.
"One more word and you are dead." He growled.
"Sure." I said. I didn't look up at him. I just kept my eyes on his hand that was squeezing my neck.
"Brother Ken... what are you doing?" Harry ran to us.
This was the last thing I saw before I passed out.
