CHAPTER 14
Two days later.
While inside her room, Ava could see the new car parked just below her window. The car was delivered early in the afternoon by the supplier, but she had yet to inspect it.
Initially, she declined the car that Brandon wanted to buy for her, saying she has her own and it was not even a year old car. But Brandon insisted firmly and Ava had no recourse but to follow and accept the new car he had purchased. Brandon also assigned a driver for her. Ava figured, he was just doing what was expected from him as her husband.
Her car from Starks household remained also at the mansion, as her second car. She preferred it that way, any way, she could drive– so whatever happened in the future…Brandon could never restrict her.
The car was the reason Brandon was calling
