Brandon left shortly after lunch. It has something to do with our travel documents and some arrangements, he said. Ava opted to stay at home despite Brandon’s invitation to join him. She searched on the internet for information about South Africa, particularly Johannesburg–she checked the culture, climate, and people.
It had been Ava’s routine since she started to travel. She equipped herself with the culture of the people in order to guide her on how to interact with them. She might not be particularly versed with the language but at least she would know how to act in front of them.
Ava was amazed that Johannesburg was highly urbanized and the biggest and richest city in South Africa. The city is the center of large-scale trade of gold and diamonds.
