Mary skipped through the park as the two women made their way into town, Fiona watching her as she rushed ahead prattling on about stopping the magic of time. Silly girl, they were vampires. They didn't have to worry about time, they would never age. She indulged her listening as she talked about where they were going, as the thin vampire guided her through the empty, cold streets. Their steps made very little sound on the cobblestone as they moved quickly, the sharp smell on incense stung her nose making Fiona pull a face.
