Sitting in Kam’s office watching him work was pretty amazing. It was as if someone flipped a switch, and suddenly he was all business. He worked at the computer until Jim came in with a box full of new cell phones. The phones were untraceable. Jim handed me a box, his stony expression cracking somewhat in surprise that I was being allowed to remain in the office with Kameron while he worked.
Kameron started making calls immediately, beginning with his business partner, Phil.
“Where the hell are you man? The fire was all over the news! I’ve been trying to track you down, your parents are going nuts with worry.
