"Don't tell me you are jealous of them, Everleigh," I said with a smirk.
"Jealous? Why would I be jealous?" she asked as she had her eyes glued to Isaac and Julie. They looked quite intimate, with Isaac holding Julie close while they slowly danced to the music.
"Because watching Isaac dancing with another woman makes your blood boil?" I suggested.
Everleigh whipped around to face me. "Don't be foolish. I don't give a s**t who Isaac dances with. In fact, I am relieved he is going to marry that woman."
"Are you now?" I asked coyly.
"Yes, that means he will leave me alone from now on," she said.
To be honest, her saying that made me a lot happier than I thought it would. "I'm glad you think so. That means I get to have you all to myself," I said, embracing her.
