Isaac's absence was beginning to test my patience, as it had been over twenty minutes since he had left to find the file.
What the hell was taking him so long?
I tapped my fingers on the steering wheel rhythmically, the seconds felt like hours. I had half a mind to get out and go look for him.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, I saw Isaac's figure approaching the car. The bastard didn't look like he was in any hurry.
"What took you so long?" I barked.
Isaac shrugged nonchalantly, leaning against the car door. "Sorry, man. I got caught up in something."
I narrowed my eyes. "Caught up in what?"
Isaac slid inside the passenger seat and smirked. "Guess who I caught snooping around in our office room?"
"Who?" I asked, but I immediately realized it by myself. "Was it Eve?
