Life with Neil: Beautiful NotesWhen I started high school, I was told to pick a couple of elective courses. Over the summer, Neil had told me about a couple of electives he’d chosen and how they’d helped him decide that he wanted to study the environment. He’d taken biology or zoology and I forget what else. But I was having trouble deciding on my choices.
"How did you decide?" I asked. "I don’t want to take any more science courses than I have to."
"I took those because I had some idea what I wanted to do."
"Yeah, well I don’t know what I want to do."
"Well—then, what do you love to do?"
