After that incident happened at the welcome party, many things changed.
Adrian became more attached to my parents, and he became a member of our small family. He comes and goes as he pleases. My mom would always cook for him too. I didn't have to justify going out with him to my parents anymore.
Adrian and I became closer together as well. When he had free time, he would always hang out with me. He would assist me with my academics, read books with me, or simply converse with me about random topics. I believe we've officially become best buddies. I've grown so reliant on him for everything, even though I don't like it. He was always able to put a smile on my face and make me feel special. As a result, it was natural for me to depend on him in this way.
