“Zuri!'' When I heard Adrian’s deep voice behind us, I panicked.
I didn’t want Adrian to get involved in this matter. If he knows Ayaan is making trouble for me, he won’t stay away from it, for sure. The last thing I wanted was Adrian to get into a fight because of me.
However, as Adrian’s voice raised, Ayaan took his hands off the locker and straightened himself up. I quickly escaped from him and walked towards Adrain with that chance.
“What is happening here?” Adrian asked, looking at both of us with a suspicious look.
“Nothing, Adrian. Let’s go.” I hurried to him and took his hand.
Adrian gave a warning look to Ayaan and turned around to leave. Thank God he didn't try to dig into it.
