I tried over and over... Ayaan, on the other hand, did not answer his phone. I became really restless.
With fear, I proceeded to read the texts he had sent me. Most of them were inquiring as to my whereabouts and why I didn't answer my phone. I'm not sure how I missed so many texts and phone calls. Even though my phone was silent, I should have felt the vibration.
I got to the last message after swiftly scrolling through his texts, which made my heart stop for a second.
“What I'm doing is constantly causing both of us pain. I simply wish I'd die instead of bringing us more troubles and suffering.
I was gazing at the message with my mouth open, trying to figure out what he was actually trying to say.
