The three wolves were running to reach the finish line. The white wolf with black beats in his fur. The brown wolf with a white patch on his head. The pure black wolf with most shinning in his fur. The young wolves were out from the pack boundaries. It was their usual routine to race till the waterfalls then jump in the waterfall swinging till the bank then coming back in the middle of the forest.
One of the wolves speed up, he heard the sound of gallons of water. The waterfall is near. He minds linked his fellow racers.
"This time I will win. Adolf I will not let you win today." The wolf said.
"Haha, Mark. We will see." Adolf laughed.
The wolves dodged the sharp branches of trees, the bushes and sharp rocks. Their speed was like bullets... All three of them reached the cliff of the mountain together...
"Sam, I reached first... Woohoo." Mark cheered in excitement.
"Haha, guys come on. Don't forget we are still in the race." Adolf said jumping in the water. He shifted back in his human form.
The seventeen-year-old Alpha Wolf. Adolf Fenris. He is a charmer. A very joyful and full of life person. A trustworthy friend. The good boy of his mother and the partner of his father. He is going to be the Alpha when he will turn eighteen. He starts swimming towards the bank. The other two wolves also jumped in and start swimming shifting in their human form.
Adolf reached the hill, he moves out from the water. He combed his raven wet hairs with his fingers, his hairs come to his shoulders, his eyes were watching his best friends. The sharp and deep blue eyes were more beautiful than the oceans. He laughed hard.
"Losers... Come on." He said.
"I am going to win." He mocked them.
The other two guys finally reached the ridge. As they move out, Adolf again shifted back in his black wolf running towards the ending point of the race. He was running so fast, he was smirking in his head.
Suddenly he felt a presence... He didn't stop. It was not his friends. Damn, who is there? He minds linked but he didn't get any answer. His friends were not behind him. Where did they go? He can not stop or slow down. It was not only one presence. A few wolves were running behind him, they were not rogues. If they were rogues he should have felt them. He was sure it was not his friends.
Adolf gulped. He finally stopped in the middle of the forest.
"Mark, Sam..." He shouted. He shifted back in his human form. He was very careful watching his surroundings, he felt six pairs of wolves eyes on him.
"Who are you all?" He asked.
"We are friends. Adolf." He heard a voice.
"Show yourself." He commanded. He heard a laugh.
"We can not." He gets a reply.
"What are you doing here? Why are you here?" Adolf asked.
"We are here for you." He heard the same voice.
"For me?" What do you mean?" He was surprised.
"We are here to kill you." The wolf said. Adolf was going to run when he felt a sharp pain in his neck.
"Our work is done here." The voice said. All the wolves run back... Adolf fall on the ground.
Adolf fell on the ground. He didn't know how long he was there? But when he opened his eyes he saw his best friend sitting beside him.
"Mark!" He groaned.
"Adolf, what happened?" Mark asked worriedly. Adolf grabbed his head in both his hands.
"Ugh!!! I don't know. My head is aching so bad." He was looking in pain.
"Adolf, how did you fall on the ground?" Mark asked again.
"I.. I.. I didn't..." He was young to say it when a flashback comes on the surface on his mind.
"Wolves!!! The werewolves. I saw three pairs of eyes and a voice. The voice said he is here to kill me." Adolf told his friend.
"What? But how can it be possible? We were running behind you. We didn't saw or feel any wolf presence!"
Mark was shocked.
"No, Mark. I saw them. I heard them." Adolf insisted.
"Mark, Adolf!!! Where are you?" Sam was calling them, he didn't reach his friends.
"Sam, we are here. Come fast." Mark shouted calling him.
"You heard him. We were together. It's just been a few minutes. We lost you from sight. So, Sam went to find you. I reached the endpoint. You were already here fallen on the ground." Mark told him.
Adolf sat on the ground. He was so sure that he had seen the wolves.
"You fine?" Mark asked.
"Yeah, I am fine." Adolf checked himself. He was fine. Nothing happened to him.
"I don't understand. How is this possible!!! I saw those wolves?" He was still confused.
"I think you hit your head somewhere... There is no scent here." Mark said.
Adolf nodded his head.
"Hey, both of you. I was looking for you all over the place." Sam was huffing. He also sat beside both of his friends.
"What happened? Anything serious!!! Why you look so tensed?" Sam asked looking both of their thoughtful faces. Mark grabbed him from the neck ruffling his hairs.
"No, it's nothing serious. Come on, we have to go back to the pack. It's already late. We have a training session. The school ended finally..." Mark yelled. Adolf and Sam laughed at his excitement.
"Okay, come on." Adolf stands up from the ground but doubt was pinning in his head. He saw those eyes for sure!!!
He brushed off this creepy feeling. All of the three boys shifted back in their wolves running towards the Red Crescent pack.
